The Drinking Water, Food And Environmental Safety Analysis Centre provides scientific services for the safeguarding of public health in terms of food and drinking water safety as well as for the protection and conservation of the environment.

The services are provided via four sections of the Division, namely:

1. Environmental Quality Division.
2. Food Quality Division.
3. Water Quality Division.
4. Biotechnology Division
