A huge proportion of samples analyzed by FOOD SECTION falls under the specification of Ministry of Defence and Treasury’s Central Contract. Services provided will enable authorities to monitor that the food supplies to the army meets the specification as stipulated by the central contract.

All the food rations supplied to army camps were sent to FOOD SECTION for analysis before consumption. These samples include rice, soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, cooking oil, condensed milk and others.

Each sample will undergo analysis pertaining to each specification, while for rice, grading is carried out in accordance to the requirement of the Lembaga Padi dan Beras Negara.
