Foreign matter is a substance found in food or beverage that is not listed in the ingredients. The presence of foreign matter is mostly related to the environment, practices in preparation, processing, storage and distribution of food that has not meet the specified level of cleanliness.

  Examples : Plants, animals, insects and others
