This section is responsible for planning and coordinating quality assurance and innovation programmes for all Department laboratories to comply with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards. The tasks are: 

·         To ensure the quality of laboratory testing services are at par with international
         laboratories  through upgrading of capabilities and expertise in the field of laboratory
        quality assurance.

·         To strengthen the implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems in 
        all Department laboratories.

·         Coordinate quality improvement programmes in line with the Government Development
